This morning there was a little lost baby whale in Refuge Bay in Pittwater.
It was only about one month old, and separated from its mother.
It was trying to suckle from the hull of a yacht before it was shepherded back out to sea, back to the deep.
It is calling for her now. I hope she hears.
I hope. It's VERY little.

Poor little guy.....I hope his mama hears him. Imagine losing your mom in such immense wateriness! I hope, hope, hope.
I've no doubt God looks after lost baby whales at sea.

I've been thinking about this little baby too.
And amazing that how far we've come as humans, yet I read there was nothing humans could do for the baby...
I heard about him on the news today--Fifi's baby whale---what's the latest?
It's distressing isn't it.
yes, just awfulness to have to stand by and watch it perish.
